On June 25, 2009, Altor Fund III acquired Pulse MedTech,
global leader in components for hearing instruments and medical devices.
Sonion was sold to Technitrol in 2008 and the activities related to hearing
instruments, headsets and medical devices was organized in Pulse Medtech.
With Altor’s acquisition, the company is renamed Sonion.
