The MBI5027 is designed for LED displays with Open/Short circuit detection extension. Macroblock’s PrecisionDrive™ of precise constant current control for this 16-bit shift register IC (with data latches) has an output of 16 regulated current ports providing uniform and constant current sinks over a wide variation of VF. It provides constant current control with very minimal variations in current from channel to channel and from IC to IC.
Macroblock’s Share-I-O™ technology enables detection and identification of any failed LED and brightness equalization.
