Selecting the right High Performance or High Intensity LED for lighting and signage applications would require careful and skilful consideration as the performance and costs can vary quite significantly with each selection.
We have a comprehensive list of LED products, each with its special features or strengths to meet the requirements of the particular application. The products that we offer are from factory supported programs, as in that they can be sourced for manufacturing needs. We have omitted LEDs that are sensational but exceptional only, not being available through a factory supported production.
It would be pertinent to take into consideration the intensity range and utilise the typical intensities for design and manufacture as the highest intensity bins whilst so coded will not necessarily imply they be exclusively so provided.
Variations in the methodologies determining the luminous intensities and wavelengths and colour, intensity matching as well as sorting criteria will present unwelcomed variations in the selection process. High performance or high intensity LEDs will also require provisions in their circuit designs for thermal & electrical stress, as well as for handling, pcb manufacturing, environmental and other criteria.
